Hi all,

I've been playing the game for a couple of days now and at random times (normally when I enter or exit a building) the FPS drop really low making it unplayable.

Now spent a few hours researching this issue on the internet and have found a lot of players are also getting this issue. I've also tried a couple of Nvidia drivers for my GPU but nothing seems to fix it.

I installed the game from the Steam client and have been running the game in ultra setting. The game checked my hardware and said it could be run in Ultra. However, I have lowered the settings to no effect. The FPS still drop at random times. I've also noticed that when the FPS do drop there appears to be a faint crackle in the sound effects. My sound drivers are updated to the latest.

The only change I've made to the Skyrim .ini file is the gamepad to 0 option. I read about this on the internet.

I have also have zero mods and have removed the HD pack that I downloaded from Steam.

I'm really at a loss of how to fix this sadly. Would anyone have any advice please?
