PS3 left to the wayside as consumers.

At this point, after all we've been through trying to play this game, I don't even care so much about Dawnguard, and I'm willing to wait for as well as pay for it as a DLC. All, I think, any PS3 user wants is equal treatment. We want the patch that has already been released for PC and XBOX. I'm very understanding about the exclusiveness of Dawnguard as a DLC. It happens often with game publishers, but the 1.06 patch is also meant to fix many problems with the product we bought for PS3. Problems that are defective software they sold us. Why is it then that the other platforms get their product patches and PS3 doesn't. To me, this could be seen as a breach of the products limited guarantee, as well as discrimination.

On those points the community of PS3 owners must bann together in a relentless assualt on the publishers and developers to achieve justice and equal treatment. I'd rather see the cunsumers bann together for legal actions to bring about justice to the publisher and developer for their poor product, broken guarantees, and obvious discrimination between certain platforms/versions of the software.

Discrimination? It's a gaming console...

I play on PC but I have to say, you guys do seem to be getting screwed. Maybe they have something in mind to make it up to PS3 owners?

I think the damage has already been done. Maybe TES VI could have ps3 players get timed exclusive

Welcome to the wonderful world money rules. If you don't swim in money -- like Scrooge McDuck -- you're nobody, and at best you'll just be ignored.

Fixed.

Anyhow, Bethesdas track record with the PS3, from what I've read as I don't own a console, is terrible. I don't know why people would expect anything different.

IMO Ps3 has gotten a raw deal. Although as I've said before I think they are having problems with 1.6 for you guys, and in that respect i feel they need to 'fess up so at least you all know they are trying not to break your games further.

And yes, like metalgod said I think the PS3 players should (for want of a better phrase) be thrown a bone; a free DLC or an exclusive bonus thang. I certainly wouldn't begrudge anything like that in these circumstances, it's a hard hearted selfish gamer who would...

Not unless Sony pays them for the privilege like Microsoft did.

Sometimes I think I'm the only one that plays the PS3 version and really enjoys it. I would like to be able to use my Bow while on horse back but besides that I haven't had any issues that needed fixing in the last 200 or so hours of gameplay.

False. The pubs and devs are quite able to give freebies out to a section of disenfranchised consumers in an effort to foster goodwill if thats what they want to do.

I too play on PS3, and have been wondering about 1.06. C'mon Bethesda, we all know DG won't be given to us till fall so lessen the heartache and give us the damn patch!

No, I do really enjoy it too, but we are having to overlook a LOT of problems in order to do so.

Maybe the third DLC, but MS paid for the first two to be one month exclusives for the XBOX.

...like a middle finger. That is about all we can expect.

I'm sure we all do appreciate your sympathy though.

Anyhow, Bethesdas track record with the PS3, from what I've read as I don't own a console, is terrible. I don't know why people would expect anything different.
Do you need references to the Bethesda press machine's clippings that went out of their way to emphasize the PS3 version's quality? They flat out lied to consumers on all counts.

Indeed they lied to the PC users too, if you go back to the idiotic state the game was released in, not building in highmem support, no sse support built in. Unfortunately for the PS3 gamer though, we have no recourse to fix our games. We can't throw the community patch on or throw more computing resources at the software - it just "is what it is".

I doubt very much the PS3 will be getting any thing special, unless we now consider neglect special treatment.

Ps3 players should be compensated! I mean 360 players got kinect support, and I don't think giving something to the ps3 players would hurt anybody.

Yep. After that Beth can do what they damn well please. I don't know if they will do anything, but I personally think it would be a good and admirable move on their part.

Your not. I have over 400 hours at this point and I love skyrim. What is really starting to eat at me is the news blackout Bethesda seems to be doing for ps3. Just tell us what's happening with 1.06. Is it broken, is it about to drop. Just let us know. The exclusive dlc deal is supposed to be for 30 days.. That's fast approaching and no info as well. I will buy fallout and tes as long as they are made, I won't buy them new though. Not giving them anymore money then I have to. I'll buy the dlc, then give it to my friends that have skyrim. No reason for 5 people to buy it.

wait! this just in... I read somewhere that patch 1.6 will definitely come to the Ps3 version of Skyrim, immediately after finishing the wii U version of Skyrim. So, as long as you buy the Dawnguard DLC and bend over you will receive this update.

Gstaff should post saying absolutely nothing about this or any future updates thus confirming that all of this is true.
