I just recently switched from xbox 360 to pc skyrim and my graphics card said it could handle high graphics (I also tried normal) but when I play its smooth for a couple seconds then it skips about a half a second. It is quite noticeable and I don't know what the problem is, any solutions?

Unlike any console, PC Systems vary extremely in terms of both hardware and background software, so that a question prepared the way you have written simply cannot be answered. There's nothing to work with there at all, sorry, you must do a lot better. DxDiag Reports are highly thought of here (not by yours truly), but if you do attach one, please enclose it in "Spoiler" tags.
