armor with cape or robe on the back?

Post » Thu Jul 19, 2012 4:56 pm

We all know that there's the nightingale armor that has a cape/robe thingie on the back in the vanilla skyrim... However people on pc can just get a mod for capes on armor which looks super epic.... So i wonder how come there's only one set of armor that has robe/cape in the whole game...(not including dawnguard... even if we did, that would only make it 2 armor in the entire game that has robe/cape.) it may not seems like a big deal to many people who play on pc cuz they can just get a mod for it but for people on ps3 and xbox doesnt have that options... Do u think bethesda might INCLUDE the cape/robes features when they release the next dlc so that people who dont play on skyrim would have that option to wear cape?? cuz when i was browsing through the nexus mod website.. I saw the cape mod that looks sooo $#$@ing AWESOME on the imperial armor and MUCH MORE... So it got me thinking that if people with creation kit can do it... then why cant bethesda?? Im pretty sure that the bethesda designing team is quite capable of doing just that... MAYBE make it another piece of clothing but make it so that u cant enchant it cuz then it people would be able to have 100% reduced cost of magicka used if they're worry about that kind of things.. but either way I dont think it would be that difficult for them to implement that into the game...

I like the hooded black robes, but I wish we could get just the hood part, it makes me mad that I have seen skeletons with just the hood part and yet I can't get it because it looks like a cape going down the back.

yea the hooded robes on the skeleton kinda reminds me of Ezio's cape in assassin's creed... I mean they could just make a hood piece that has cape attached to it so it wouldnt give people a chance to enchant another piece of armor..

In the concept art for an imperial officer it showed a cape but I guess they cut it out.

Now that I think about it, it does look like Ezio's cape, but yeah I don't know why they did that if a Skeleton can wear it why can't I?

I agree 120% And where are all the cowls?! One stinking green cowl is all i ever see around. My game would be so much better if i could make a dresser full of enchanted cowls like i used to be able to do in oblivion. Hence the obvious answer: This isn't oblivion.....and i understand, but it does not deter from the fact i still want to enchant different colored cowls for my Archer!!

I agree with this, the amount of hoods we have in this game is very limited, and needs to change.

I'm trying to create a perfect "300" Spartan look for a character, but I can't get a black loincloth or a red cape. Kind of a drag.

Yeah Red cape would have been awesome... OR cape for all colors?? actually ALL might be asking for too much but atleast the major color we all know of like black white red blue yellow/brown.... Seems pretty doable

EDIT: OR all cape color for each town's guards

If they added capes, I"d prefer they be unenchantable; it'd make it even easier to become a god.

(MUST) jst saying... maybe if its in CAPS it will make it easier for people to notice ^_^ but yeah i agree at this point its like u would normally be expecting these kind of stuff to be included in the game when they released. I think oblivion has pretty nice black, red, aqua, grey, and blue(arch mage) hoods... with that being said, that was quite a lot of options for hood in oblivion

yep i agree, i dont really mind whether we're allowed to enchant it or not, i just wanna look cool while playing skyrim(not saying that there're no cool armor in the game) just saying that i wished that there are more options like capes and hood
