So I was thinking. Why is there a wait button. When I don't wait often. Or would want to wait often enough to warrent use of a button specificly for it. That got me thinking because skyrim lacks a gaurd feature for dual handed/barefisted combat. With that out there I pondered on a way to make it work out as smoothly as I could while sticking to a similar system of button/menus they use. To turn start into a four way anolog menu just like the item management system. With wait being one of the four. The three others are obviously the three basic options you tab through when you hit start, journal, options and general stats. With wait being a feature in a menu this clears up an entire button which with proper shifting can be used to allow dual wielding block. Select(or back on xBox) would turn into the items menu. Circle( B ) moved to sprint and finally the old sprint button changed into a blocking button.
Thinking deeper I rolled with it going that [L2] would be a block specific button and changing [L1] to attacking/shield bash. Viola. Instant shield bash coupled with guard for all weapon wielders. This being somethin I mulled over in my head for like half an hour it may not work for everything. But it sure would be nice.
