Okay. I finished the scroll for anska quest, and now, whenever I fast travel, anska pops up right next to me like a follower does, except she then starts walking off to whatever her destination is. I don't mind, sometimes she helps me out with monsters and stuff, but does anyone know what causes this.

She sounds like one of the free horses.
Have you tried riding her?

No, she definitely acts like a regular npc.

If you ever DO mind,
If she's regular and not essential, maybe you'll f-t to a circling dragon who will dispatch her for you.
You can try f-t to the CoW, you can't swing a dead cat in that courtyard without hitting a dragon.

And I find the most annoying thing about the College of Winterhold is that there is usually a few mages there that can dispatch the dragon quickly before it does too much damage. And I'm more curious as to what triggers the bug rather than how to get rid of it.
