So basically, this is how Skyrim looks without textures. Hardly surprising... texturing is the single most important feature of computer 3D graphics.

I did a lot of modding for the first Unreal / Unreal Tournament. For some levels I created several custom hires textures. Even now, those levels looks amazing even if they probably contain 1/100th of the polys of a modern game and lack and post processing FX. 90% of the good looks of a game are due to textures alone.

I totally agree on the importance if textures. But also coloured lightsources and colour grading.

Seen it. They basically removed the textures from the game. They minimally use textures TF2, which is how the mod got it's name.

Kinda trippy.

With a few improvements (that war axe :yuck: ) it would look really cool.

Only use for this mod is to make skyrim to run on low low end systems... it might be useful, but it is still :yuck:

TF2? Not even close. That's just Skyrim with solid colors instead of textures. Tf2 actually uses rather advanced lighting and shading methods to still make it look good. That just looks like crap...

So TF2 came out in 1995? That comes as a surprise to me since it wasn't until '96-'97 that I first played TF as a Quake mod.
