Going make a Pure imperial, need some advice

Post » Fri Jul 20, 2012 3:33 pm

Hey, after playing oblivion and skyrim has stealthy characters and been a big fan of spartacus blood and sand series i decided i want to make a imperial!

Simply i want a heavy armoured (imperial) warrior, my bow would be imperial and sword imperial.

Im not sure to either, use dual swords has this would be epic but no defence or to use a shield? shield of solitude would be an aim.

Smithing will be a main skill to advance the damage etc maybe enchanting too.

What would you guys recommend?

Also tips to make a good looking male imperial? pictures would help!

Make sure to practice your cursive writing. You're an Imperial diplomat, not a Nord savage! But you could also go into Restoration, as I believe Imperials get a +10 for the Restoration skill. Could be a good source for healing instead of making potions.

As for hair, use the roman looking one that is short. Kind of Caesar looking.

Ahh useful tip i was thinking of alchemy with not upgrading my armour which is making me think keep to the shield. But enchanting for useful boost at higher levels.

Next to the Dunmer, the Imperials are the second most versatile race in TES. They make great warriors, diplomats and Battlemages.

Here are their race descriptions:

Morrowind and Oblivion

Known as Cyrodiils, Cyrodilics or Cyro-Nordics before the time of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tiber_Septim, the well-educated and well-spoken Imperials are the natives of the civilized, cosmopolitan province of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Cyrodiil. Imperials are also known for the discipline and training of their citizen armies, and their respect for the rule of law. Though physically less imposing than the other races, the Imperials have proved to be shrewd diplomats and traders, and these traits, along with their remarkable skill and training as light infantry, have enabled them to subdue all the other nations and races and erect the monument to peace and prosperity that comprises the Glorious Empire. Their hegemony has waxed and waned throughout the eras, and most historians refer to three distinct Empires, the ends of which each mark a new epoch in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tamriel history.

Very detailed, so it would be beneficial to take up restoration other than alchemy for health? to be honest its mainly the only magic i use anyway! haha im thinknig dual swords so i don't need bother with the block skill tree and take up restoration instead! thanks for tips

Nice my Imperial looks pretty similar to him, think il get all the armour etc first, would be easier if i went stormcloack side at beginning of the game but that defeats the entire point lol.

Focus on leveling up heavy armor, 1 hand, archery, speech, and forging. Try to by Proudspire manor, and act stuck up not to much though or else you will be a high elf.

Yeah, I'd say use restoration. Since they know a bit of magic. I usually go sword and shield when playing an Imperial warrior. or just a one handed sword when playing a battlemage. I find dual wielding difficult, but that's just my opinion. If you enjoy it, by all means go for it.

So you should focus on these skills:

One Handed (for single or dual action)

Block (Optional)

Speechcraft (Imperials have a silver tongue.)

Restoration

Heavy Armor (More protection, especially if you play on higher difficulties.)

Marksman (Optional, but good for when dragons refuse to land.)

Smithing (Make or enhance existing armor.)

But like I said those are just my suggestions. Choose whatever you like.
