So i've gotten an idea for my character:

-only uses bound weapons (I felt that they looked rather soul-ish)
-Probably going to spam reanimation spells (soul warrior commanding an army of soulless entities)
-Uses 1h and 2h weapons. (bound sword, bound battleaxe etc.)
-Probably going to use enchanting (trapping souls)

And basically im not going to carry any "mundane" weapons with me if im going to be using bound weapons all the time.

Soooo anyone knows of any armor that would fit the "soul" aspects of the character? Or does anyone know of mods that have soul-ish armor? Skyrim doesnt really have any "ethereal armor" of sorts, despite there being a "ghostblade".

Focus on enchanting, conjuration, 1 hand, 2 hand, and what ever armor you plan on using.

Which is what im asking, because skyrim doesnt exactly have any "ghost armor".

If you are going to be trapping grand souls with your bound weapons, beware that it might take you longer than a minute to kill Deathlords, mammoths etc., so carry some regular weapons to wear down their health before switching to your soul trapping bound weapons.

Use heavy armor, and get the perk so it weighs nothing.

Your character sounds much like a Deathknight. I'd recommend Ebony, Daedric or Ancient Nord armor.

Daedric Armor is probably your closest to a "dark" feel.

Sounds like a Battle-mage, like old good Dyvaith Fyr

Would your character happen to be a Redguard? I ask because one of the "old ways" in Redguard culture apparently includes the ability by some to call forth a "Shehai" (spirit sword).

Daedric armor is probably my backup though, heh.

Bah. If Skyrim has ghostblades they should have made an ethereal armor set.
