Starter Fantasy Armor

Post » Fri Jul 20, 2012 7:28 pm

So, I'll write the backstory and the build a little bit later. But I am planning to make a Nord or Imperial warrior, in some heavy armor. But I wanted to know is any of the stater heavy armor fantasy like in appearance?

I was considering at higher levels to give him ebony armor, but what's good to wear before having ebony armor?

I suppose Elven or Glass Armor could be considered fantasy looking, but I'm ot sure what you are picturing. They are both light armors, too, so I don't know if that's what you want. Later on I guess Daedric has the look. If you go to the Wiki, it has pictures of the armor.

I am putting him in heavy armor. I wanted him to look like a bad ass, mysterious knight.

No. Just mysterious and dark.

Then Ebony is clearly the best choice. There aren't really any other armors that have a "dark" feel in the lower levels, unless you like Orcish (which is my least favorite set).

"Ebony armor is the third-best heavy armor, behind Dragonplate and Daedric armors. It appears in leveled lists starting at level 32 (enchanted varieties at level 33)."

I kind of need something to start off with......cause...I won't find ebony in a while.

Yes yes I know :P But seeing as gear spawns are level dependent, you don't have many options.

Steel plate isn't dark, but the full helm might lend you a bit of mystery.

Honestly there aren't many armor choices without pc mods, so you just have to svck it up a bit until you hit ebony.

What's important to remember, though, is that the way you play and imagine the character is ultimately more important the armor he/she wears.

I absolutely agree. I could just play it as is. During his occupation of service, and then he's like screw this. Betrays whom he is working for and then becomes a vigilante knight. [no not batman, get that out of your head]

that could work and might I recommend boeithiahs mail in place of the ebony chest?

There is some Wolf Armor that you can get from Yorland if you do some of the Companions. It's pretty decent, somewhat sinister looking.

You already read my mind. The idea is that he was once a man of religion, Talos, and believed in the divine eight. And his mind slowly becomes corrupted with the worship of deadra. Losing his faith to the eight and throwing away everything he once had. He's only like twenty-five, but his father was a General of the Imperial army, he was considered in high position and was to marry a woman. But when he was called by the Deadra, he began to feverishly study them becoming a twisted and dark knight. Whom is fickle and cruel. Sometimes he'll help and other times he will murder you. That and he is cursed as well. [yeah was planning to make him a werewolf] He slowly fights both the feral states of his mind and the twisted states of his dark curse.

If we can get Skyrim to work. Cause of right now. Skyrim isn't working on our 360. You'll never make him. Never. *eery voice*
