Skyrim bugging out all of a sudden

Hi there!

I will start of by saying that i svck at computers..

Alright then, here we go. I've played alot of Skyrim since i came out, never had any big issues like bugs or anything of the sort. One day i got tired of it and stopped playing for a few months until today, i've been spending some time on the forum and found some mods i wanted to try out, so i downloaded NMM, followed the guide on youtube and got ahold of two mods that i installed, i usually don't play with mods, since as i said, svck at computers and are kinda afraid of [censored] up the game.

When i loaded my save i was in whiterun, soon as i started to turn around my screen went black, then back to normal and then completely white. I ran a bit further and went in to Breezehome, once inside i couldn't move at all, the game didn't freeze, it was still running but i couldn't turn and when i finally could turn i could only turn like 180 degrees, i couldn't run or anything.

I thought it might be the mods, since as i said earlier i svck at computers and figuered i had done something wrong, so i went to NMM and uninstalled the mods, went back to the game but the same problems still excisted. I can't play the game like that since the screen on occassion goes black and then white with me seeing absoloutly nothing.

I thought i'd copy my save folder and re-install the game.. but i can't find anything under steam.. i hate computers..

Oh, thats right! When i start skyrim i get this pop-up "Error - failed to enumerate subscribed files" can that have anything to do with it?

Please help so i can play Skyrim again!

That error code is to do with steam workshop and mod subcriptions. Unsubscribe and it should go away. Uninstalling mods may not work, as files can be left over in the games data folder which can cause problems with the normal game. You need to delete all files in the games data folder to ensure that the game wont try to load mod files.

You dont need to re-install the game either; In steam, go to the games properties panel and chose "verify game cache". This will check over all the games instalation files for broken, erronous files and replace them automatically.
