I just recently got Skyrim for the PC, but am having a very fatal issue with it. It seems that my attacks are being very unresponsive. Sometimes I can stand in front of an enemy, with them attacking me for a while, me furiously clicking the mouse for my sword to swing, and it takes anywhere from a second to like ten seconds for it to do anything.

It's not any kind of lag--every other sort of input works just fine. I am using an external mouse on my laptop, but even the built in mouse buttons aren't any better.

As you can imagine, this is a very serious issue. Is there any way to fix it?

Try if one of those solutions works, there's a lot of .ini editing involved it seems.

I tried it, but it didn't work. Those seem to be for people having issues moving the view/cursor around. My issue is with the clicking.
