Just got my enchanting to where I wanted it to be or at least close enough for now. But I'm trying to find unenchanted mage clothes. Preferably ones like the students at college of winterhold so I can get a hood to enchant as well. Tried several places and closest I got was radiant raiment with its college robes but those aren't what I want. Any help?

I've never found unenchanted mage robes (not the floor-length ones). If you're on PC, you can acquire an unenchanted hood via console. I don't know about the robes, though. The floor-length ones have unenchanted counterparts which I'm sure are acquirable in-game.

You won't find any mage clothes w/ hoods you see the mages wear not enchanted. You can buy the hoods with no enchants from the mages in the collage.

There's a bunch of different colored robes in the CK, but for some reason they're not in the game. I only know of the college robes that are not enchanted, and all of the cool Mage's College leveled robes (Adept, Expert, Master, etc) are all enchanted.
There are pretty, unenchanted, purple full length robes available during Vaermina's quest, and there's the Mythic Dawn robes you can steal from the Museum.

You can get an unenchanted version of the blue robes that Court Wizards wear, but it doesn't have a hood :s

Does radiant raiment ever sell more college robes? I keep going back to buy another one and nothing

College Hood you can get from Colette Marence
College Robes you can get from Radiant Raiment.
But you don't like the College Robes.

I like the way Blue Robes look with Alik'r Hood. Nice simple look. You can get both from Radiant Raiment. I also like regular gloves and fine boots (short one that looks like regular shoes) to go with that outfit.

Finally, someone else who thinks those are cool looking. We should make out or something.

I gathered every set I could when I did that quest (easier than duplicating them on the mannequin).

Those are actually really cool looking, too.

I just wish we could dye stuff so we could mix and match better.
