a tribute to the honor of adam adamowicz...

Post » Mon Jul 23, 2012 10:00 pm

i believe that the art designer that passed away should have the honor to be included in the current game or coming game as a character so that his memory will never die from our hearts. i really hope beth gets to see this if they havent thought of it so they may get to see this through. i never knew the man, but someone who contributed alot to this game deserves to be in it since hes not alive to see its huge success and larger fan base. i do not know what race he prefers or what class was his favorite, etc..but i think he deserves a place in the game..perhaps he could retain his name and have a backround raised in another province to make up for his name if likes a different race than his name would entitle

thank you for reading

I like the idea, though his name should be TESified a bit.
Say, if he's an Imperial, he can be called Adamus Adamowichus or something.

There are a couple mods dedicated to him if you're on PC. I think I had one that adds a grave and a bunch of his artwork in the form of an ingame book.

In reading about him, he seemed like a pretty cool guy, even beyond his talents as an artist.

That's a wonderful idea! A tribute to him would be more than appropriate.

Where can one find this mod? It sounds quite interesting.

they could add him as a researcher and his concept art could be research sketches.

Thank you!

No sweat!

I read that Adam was a fair man with the bottle, so be sure to bring a couple of BlackBriar Reserves when you visit his grave. Stenvar and I both had one, and we left a few at the gravesite. ;)

There was so much that he contributed to what we see every time we play these games. His presence in the games is huge. Right now I'm playing Fallout3 and I think of him every time I use the Laser Rifle. In Skyrim, I study the Wall of Alduin and think of/remember him. I'm sure his colleages at Bethesda will always miss him since he was their friend. If you missed this tribute to Adam, see http://www.bethblog.com/2012/05/22/feng-shui-dah/

Thank you for posting that link - I stayed up extremely late last night watching the slideshow of his astounding concept art. It sounds like he was a great guy too. What a terrible loss.

I think what would immensely cool is, like their game jam week, the team is allowed to spend a week creating a small DLC.

With the proceeds from this DLC they create a scholarship fund for art students.

I can't imagine ever buying another Bethesda 'product' but I would willingly pay for this.
