I am a new Xbox owner (I've had mine for about a month now), but I've only just gotten Skyrim and Dawnguard. Since I have had to move off of PC, I have a number of high-level saves from my PC that I've moved to the 360 so that I could try Dawnguard with a variety of different playstyles. This has worked well since I got Skyrim, a little less than a week ago, but last night something strange happened. I started an entirely new character to play Dawnguard at the minimum level for a nice challenge, and this character, around 2 or so hours of gameplay time, started having strange texture issues in the inventory menu -- things like Iron and Steel shields, hide and fur armors, and pieces of scaled armor would show up with absolutely
terrible texture quality, as in lower than the lowest PC texture settings. The strange thing is that it's seemingly random -- my steel armor would show up perfectly, along with all of my weapons. Additionally, it seems to me that certain world textures are also showing up poorly, notably rocks and some icy surfaces (the best place I can think of is a little inside Dawnguard's Dimhollow crypt, by the first gate (I'm still probably a bit pampered on PC graphics, so the second one could just be normal Xbox settings).
I've already deleted and reinstalled the game on my 360's hard drive, and I've also cleared the cache and created fresh save files after doing so. Since that doesn't seem to have worked, I'm sort of out of my experience here on how to fix this, so what can I do? I know it's not a game-breaking glitch, but it's most certainly annoying.
