Many issues, LOTS of details! (ati, 12.6 and 12.7) (crossfir

Wow... lots of problems. System specs (detailed) will be at the bottom.

Crossfire sometimes disables after fast traveling or traveling from an interior location to an exterior location, or vise-versa. Alt-tabbing and re-tabbing the game back open seems to get crossfire back, however it happens again subsequently after fast traveling or traveling from exterior to interior or vise-versa again from time to time. Crossfire never sticks.

Water sometimes bugs out and I can see a odd circular curvature on the surface of the water around me in a large circle, seems to be directly connected to my characters movement in some way as it follows directly around my character with any movement. Oddly enough it disappears sometimes if I just keep running around in the water. Also, I've had lakes and bodies of water blink repeatedly on me like a strobe light, neither issue happens if crossfire is disabled, it never happens when crossfire is disabled, so I'm lead to believe this is strictly a crossfire problem.

I get really low dips in frame rates when arriving at locations after fast traveling. My frames will dip to 10 if I look around sharply, before returning to 60. This happens every time, it's as if it's reloading all the textures from scratch each time you enter/exit thus there's a short wait period before the framerate is fully smooth, (about 10 seconds). This is highly annoying as it happens every single time you exit/enter or fast travel. Also, it actually lasts longer and gets worse if you use AA. It's odd because eventually it will hit a stable 60 frames, just takes a bit for some reason.

Using 12.6 ati driver, menu's would flicker badly when using AA. Apparently this was resolved in 12.7 however 12.7 broke the ENTIRE U.I if you have shadows set to ultra. Also all the other problems I've mentioned occurred with 12.6 and 12.7 didn't resolve any of them (aside from the flickering menus).

I've had SEVERAL CTD's that seem to be random. None of them happen at any particular steady time interval while I'm playing, they're random from what I can tell. However most of them have occurred about 5 to 10 seconds shortly after fast traveling or exiting/entering an interior/exterior (or vise-versa). I downloaded a mod that supposedly fixes this exact problem, but got the CTD again one time in the same manor I describe, after a random amount of time played, and shortly after fast traveling or entering/exiting something. Guess the mod didn't fix it..

Sometimes I see shadows that look vertical and horizontal in nature on walls in windhelm (i'm sure it happens elsewhere but it's much easier to see it here in windhelm on the large stone walls). When the time of day changes you can see it very clearly, does not look like normal shadows, definitely looks strange (large hexi-pattern of some kind).

Things I've tweaked in the game:

1. Disabled Vsync (still 60fps cap, that's unchanged)
2. Disabled mouse smoothing(acceleration)
3. Enabled tree shadows. (no performance loss or difference)
4. Enabled rock shadows. (no performance loss or difference)
5. I play with FoV 85
6. I do not play with any AA enabled, it is off completely, ( I can't see any difference for some reason when it's on, maybe bug with 12.7?)
7. I play with max settings (but no aa) + high res tex pack.
8. I play with Anisotropic Filtering x16 on
9. All default settings in video card, I've tried pretty much every combo imaginable to user-fix these problems but nothing works, AA seems to make everything worse (problems happen more frequently and faster). Definitely driver problem, not user-related.
10. I play in 1920x1080 Fullscreen (obviously, or crossfire wouldn't work).

I am using the high-res texture pack like I already stated.

My Specs in detail:

Video card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 o.c edition 12.7 driver
OS: Windows 7 64bit SP1 currently up-to-date. All .net frameworks and updates installed, installed latest version of DirectX. Installed latest version of PhysX from Nvidia (for some reason it's required in some games, I know ati doesn't utilize it fully or something like that, no clue.)
Motherboard: P8P67 Deluxe REV 3 bios: 3207
Sound: Logitech G35 headset, standalone usb driver, standalone hardware. (7.1 dolby digital)
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600
CPU: i7-2600k 3.8ghz (not oc'd, just running at stable XMS memory profile which the default is 1600mhz)

Eh that's about it. I take good care of my computer and when there's an issue I pull all the stops to user-fix it. Yeah, no clue regarding this stuff though, no way this is user-issue. This is a driver issue for sure. I've already reported this same post to AMD... TWICE... yeah, they didn't send me an email and they have not updated their driver for a while now. I'm kind of annoyed to be honest.
