i got quite a few dollar now 54000 ish but ive got more or less pretty good weapons armor etc i use ebony battle axe enchanted at the min few staffs etc armor is ebony also enchanted so what can i spend the gold on wisely? are there any better weapons and stuff etc further in the game?

ive got the winterun house dont see the point of another 1 for now anyway ive got countless jewels and stuff to sell (butthats another story where to find a dealer with enough to buy it all)?

Everyone ends up ridiculously rich in Skyrim. I guess you can spend some on weapons and armor - but if you do smithing you probably make them yourself, and ebony weapons are standard draugr boss loot once you reach a higher level (not even that high). You can buy houses, training, filled soulgems for enchanting... If you get Hearthfire spend them on building houses.

I usually simply stop looting after a certain point. I take unique/unusual things, gold, potions, lockpicks, soulgems and gems (can't leave the shiny shiny things). That's it.

Start collecting things until you have a need for more property to store them. Or, start trying to achieve goals in crafting and skill leveling - like, go to an alchemist, buy all their ingredients, and make all the potions you can. Likewise for smiths/smithing. Tour vendors and start shopping...
