Another reason why I love this game

Remember Pavo and his Orc buddy in Markarth, the two miners that you clear their mine for them so they can work?

Well, about two game months ago I cleared their mine for them and forgot about them while I traveled all over Skyrim. Last night I was traveling down the road with Jordis and as I neared their little house near the bridge I saw both of them fighting off some Forsworn. I raced there with sprint as fast as I could but it was two late, they both died. I looked at their bodies on the bridge and thought about how a video game could invoke a feeling of sadness in me. It was like that family in that tower in the mountains that were slaughtered by the Falmer.

This game rocks. I don't care what anyone says.

Yeah, one death has made me sad like that. It was the dunmer woman in Riften, who sells vegetables and gives you a quest for ice wraith teeth. She's an unobtrusive, nice NPC. She got killed in my playthrough though, after rescuing Esbern. That Thalmor Khajiit tried to ambush me as I got out of the ratway, and the Dunmer tried to defend me. Killed in an instant. It made me sad though because she's just a humble shop seller. She couldn't even pay for those ice wraith teeth except with veggies and chicken briasts. The least undeserving NPC in Riften to die so senselessly like that.

That is actually a bug.
After you clear the mine the Forsworn are not supposed to respawn, but they do.
It bugs me that they happily go back to work only to die the next time Im in the area.
I dont think its awesome at all.

I used to be happy when I saw the Courier coming but now I feel dread because it could be a letter of inheritance. Pavo Attius hasn't made it through my last two games and has left me gold in his will. In one game, his buddy Gat gro-Shargakh didn't make it either and left me gold too. I have plenty of gold...don't want them to die for more gold so I keep trying to go by that mine and keep it cleared out. I'm not always successful but I try, bug or not. Such is life and death in Skyrim....and I absolutely love this game. :tes:

When I was playing a dragon attacked Riften, killing Ingun Black Briar, & Injuring Maven. It was awesome.
