Hey guys, I'm looking into buying a gaming comp, I was hoping to get the opinion of what I should get from you fellow gamers. I don't trust salesman, so I don't want to go into a store without help. I don't know much about comps,
The comp will mainly be used for TES, FO, dragon age, command an conquer.
Here is a few things I would like it to do:

Play games on the highest quality the game provides.
Be able to hook up a ps3 or Xbox control to the system to play the games and/or control the comp.
I would prefer a laptop as I have 2 young children and would like to be able to put it away when I'm finished.

I'm hoping to only spend around AU$1000.00.

The cheaper the better, but I understand quality comes at a higher price.
