Khajitt Marriage

Post » Wed Oct 03, 2012 1:14 am

Dear Developers,

I am sure this has been mentioned before. But why not Khajitt marriages? I have a male Khajitt and really want to marry another female Khajitt. Leaving the option out for both Bosmer and Khajitt's makes little sense. Do you plan on releasing a patch to address this? I'd even be willing to pay for DLC that allows me to do so!!! I bet I am not the only one!

its been mentioned/requested MANY times.

Sadly the only way is to get Skyrim on the PC and use mods to make a khajiit marriable. Thats what I did.

Or marry Shahvee she's ugly as hell too so it's like ugly+ugly=love, you're set.

I wouldn't say Shahvee is ugly. And even if she was, she has a pretty personality.

I actually married my Khajiit to Shahvee and the chemistry is just fine  Both are strangers in a hostile land, nice roleplaying opportunity. And she's not ugly at all :nono: but I guess it's in the eye of the beholder, I'm a big fan of both beast races.

As difficult as taking a somewhat big-name actor away from his current project to fly to D.C., renting a recording studio, having him record twenty lines or so, negotiating for payment for those lines, actually paying it, and then adding it to the game.

Ditto for female Khajiit, except extra effort must be made to add new actors to the game with new quests.

And adding a few new actors with unique voice acting will open a deluge of demands from fans, asking for this-or-that person to be eligible or for more candidates in general.

All this, compounded by the usual chronic [censored]ing from everyone about the marriage feature's perceived shallowness and how this is symptiomatic of the series' decline and other sanctimonious horse pucky.

So before you go asking "how hard could it be?", try thinking about it from outside your limited prospective as a fan -- no, not even a fan, a consumer, because seeing the trend of threads here and across the entirety of the forums, I see that there are no fans left.
