Favorite constituency?

When im playing Skyrim i'd say i spend 70% of my time in Whiterun. I have my most used house in Whiterun etc. This is just due to the fact its located in central Skyrim, its one of the first places you go and that's why i think its so popular among most people. I tend to spend a lot of time in Riverwood too.
Just wondering what your favorite place in Skyrim is and why?

I love Riften due to the Theivs guild. I think its amazing how its all underground. I also like the scenery and how it used to be a sort of trading hub for Skyrim.

I would have to agree Whiterun there jeazz just because it's quite central, although I also like Solitude as well for some of the shops it has.

Whiterun is the town I return to most often, but that's mostly for convenience. I prefer Riften, but its smithy sadly lacks a smelter, and Honeyside is harder to achieve than Breezehome, making Whiterun more practical.

This, but also it's my base of operations. What with the face sculpture, TG merchants, and allies.

This is true, i think Whiterun has that practicality factor.

The scenery in Solitude is definitely one of the nicest, although I prefer the look of Markarth.

Riften is also an amazing place but as navelpluis said it lacks a smelter which is bad as i'm an avid miner, i like to be self efficient.

Yeah, the blacksmithing area is one of the best things about Whiterun in my opinion. They have practically everything there!

And its right at the entrance with a general store right by it and also your home right next door to it! so you don't have to go far to store smithing items etc.

It wouldn't surprise me if Whiterun was made to be the most practical city in the game on purpose; for most players, it's the first city you encounter. This always give you a place to fall back to. Other main cities come close, but all of them lack something, that being either a smelter, an alchemy store, etc. Whiterun has everything you'll ever need, packed into 5 or 6 buildings.

For some reason, I spend most of my time around Riften.
