I thought there were Light and Heavy Armor to every type before Skyrim was released.I was alittle disappointed when their were only light Armor to Iron/Dragonscale. Also Daedric Light Armor would look Bad***

Yeah, more armor variation would be good, like there is for Steel and Fur armor. But i don't think making a light daedric would make much sense, Daedric is daedra infused ebony after all. And ebony (in TES) is volcanic ore. Or blood of a god, if you want to go all mythical :hehe:

And you can say ass here

There doesn't need to be an exact material match, but a 1:1 ratio of Light to Heavy choices would be ideal.

While it would be nice to see more variety in terms of what can be made from materials (in terms of light vs. heavy,) the material has ALWAYS been associated with a certain type of armor. In some instances (such as Dwarven and Ebony) the association goes all the way back to TES: Arena. So it's unlikely that we'll be seeing Dwarven Light Armor or Elvish Heavy armor.

Someone should make a mod that converts all armor to heavy. The light armors can be the skimpy variations. :P

You can't have light daedric.
It's like having a "light" jadgtiger.

More variation would certainly be welcomed. Having a few types of a single armor and unique variations would really making smithing and finding loot more interesting, but having heavy glass armor could be BA or just weird. I could see where some problems would arise, but it could be done right and add another layer to the game.

I like light and heavy armors to be different.

Nords make heavy armored steel into light chainmail.

What I really want is an Imperial ebony armor.

People with Imperial characters are a bit lost as to having a decent armor. Imperials are specialists in heavy armor. Most I'm sure wouldn't want to wear an elven armor such as Orcish. Being Imperial doesn't automatically make you part of the legion. Plus legion armor is low rank.
