Well..it seems like everytime I come here it's because I've encountered a bug that never seems to be discussed or is rare. Any searches on Google pointed to thread starters on Gamefaqs, Gamespot, etc where the responses were immature (ex. slap your spouse into obedience) rather than helpful.

Well, I started a new game with Dawnguard as an Argonian. Went and married Borgakh the Steel Hearted. But after the wedding, when I went and approached her, and discussed our living arrangements, I told her to go to Breezehome. She said yes, but just stood there like a log. Well ok, I said to myself. So I went and did some quests, travelled around Skyrim. And about 2 weeks in game time later, still no Borgakh in Breezehome. So I got an idea and went back to the Temple of Mara in Riften...and lo and behold she was there! Refusing to go to Breezehome. If I talked to her she would be willing to move back to the Orc Stronghold, but I don't get the option to buy stuff from her, and the quest "Visit your Spouses" home doesn't remove from my journal when I go to Chief Larak's longhouse!!! And of course, when I say "let's move to Breezehome", she just freezes in place like a statue.

I went and reloaded and tried marrying Temba Wide-Arm and Ysolda and got the same results! Spouses don't want to live in Breezehome..and anywhere else that is not their home for that matter. And when they do live in their own home, you can't buy and sell stuff or get rid of the "Visit your spouse's home" quest objective!

What the heck is going on!? Any answers or shared experience regarding this matter would be appreciated.
