I recently reinstalled Skyrim (from Steam), and I get a CTD (no error messages, just kicked back to Windows) when starting a New Game.

I get past the logos, I see the cart and I can look around, but about 5 seconds after the on-screen instruction to use mouselook appears, the game crashes. Every time.

My PC specs are:

Windows Vista SP2 (32 bit)
Intel Core 2 Duo E2800 @ 2.66 GHz
4 GB RAM
GeForce GTX 560 Ti (1GB)
Driver 306.23 (I was running something lower when the problem appeared - installing a newer one made no difference).

I played Skyrim quite a bit at release, and it worked well - I had no CTD problems at all prior to this reinstallation.

What other information do I need to provide?
