Can't Get Nexus Version of IMCN to Work : V

So I had to re-install all of my Steam games recently, since I had an issue with Steam. This means a fresh start with Skyrim - no saves, no nothing. I re-installed all my mods, but I made one change; I used to use the Workshop version of Imp's More Complex Needs, but I saw that the Nexus version was better rated and had a Dawnguard fix/patch for it, and someone just released a Hearthfire compatibility patch for IMCN today. So I went to use that one....but it doesn't work for some reason.

It used to be that when you started the game (or IMCN), you were given your starting waters and the IMCN control items. None of that happened. I tried manually adding the things to my inventory and starting the mod, but it just wound up with extremely odd percentages and stats and wouldn't work. So I'm not sure what to do.

Imp, the creator of the mod, appears to be either dead or kidnapped since he disappeared well before the release of Danwguard and hasn't been heard from. So I came here for help. Anyone know whats up? Here is my mod list (Yes, it is BOSS'd and Bashed):
