Help me making Skyrim fun again!

Righto, ladies and gentlemen. I've put down Skyrim for a looong time, after deleting my last character, a well worked out (story wise) Dunmer Assassin because I was angry with the whole game for no appearent reason. Yesterday I got Dawnguard, with the hope that I'd get back on the game without a problem. Thing is, now I'm looking at the same problem I've had all the time playing this game (except for the very first time)

I just can't seem to create an interesting enough character to have fun in the long run. My last character was perfectly role-played out from the beginning, I've even wrote a [censored] novel for her background story. It worked for a while, I've probably played her longer than most of my other characters that got old really quick. Sad thing is, that the whole feeling when I first started the game is, of course, not there anymore, so I need something else to keep my interest up. And I'm really willing to get into the game again, but I'm afraid of the fact that I'm not satisfied with my characters...

I'm in a crisis! Help me, dear forums!

I had the same problem, Im going to try to get back into it again while trying dead is dead. This will give it a more of a challenge and hopefully make the game unique again for me.

Try a playstyle you haven't used before, or try and focus your questing and adventures around an area you aren't very familiar with. Perhaps try a faction you haven't managed to complete yet.

Otherwise, I can't help you. I have this same problem when trying to play Skyrim. I've played a few sword and board warriors, one 2h warrior, a dual wielding/marksman thief/assassin, and I tried playing a mage a couple fimes. I've also completed every faction, and have done the majority of the quests for any given town.

So yeah, I'm pretty much out of stuff to do.

I'm working out the details to create a Merchant's Guild in Skyrim. Exiting Helgen with only a magician's robe (0 armor), iron dagger, gold found about, and fur boots, I head to Whiterun and start working to build the guild. This requires me to use alchemy, smithing, and other things as mechanics to sell to other cities and establish a trade route.

But first, I must rid the road of bandits at forts and hideouts along the way.

Been interesting so far, except the game is too limited with a level lock of 1, so I'm working out the details to limit my character's power but make it realistic in game play.

Well, I've started the Thieves Guild, and the Dark Brotherhood. This is a good reason for me to go for a Rogue-like character, people would say. Thing is, I've had more Rogue-like characters than anything else before. This kinda' irks me.

I don't have this problem, I have quite the imagination and thought out many characters already and the paths they will take.
