ARGH!!!!!!!! Used the Restoration glitch to boost pickpocket by a ridiculous amount and yet still can't pickpocket my housecarl's default armor whilst it is in her inventory. I can see it but it still has a 0% chance of success even with over 10000% boost. Any ideas anyone?

You actually can see a housecarl's default armor? I thought it's not supposed to be playable (thus you shouldn't actually be able to see them)

Yeah, replaced it with better armor forcing it into their inventory.
(On PS3 BTW)

I am surprised you can see the default armor in the first place.

However, I think even those who console out the armor it comes back on the next rehire of the follower. I have never done this myself.

Bottom line, unless you give them an armor set that is better than their stock stuff they will wear their stock stuff. Note, their stock armor is not improved. I got Lydia to wear Scaled light armor by improving it even though she is a Heavy Armor user.
