Multiple followers mods

I am wonder what is the best mod around for having multiple followers or is UFO still the best mod for this?

IIRC UFO still isn't compatible with Hearthfire.

To what extent is UFO incompatible with Hearthfire? Does it interfere with UFO's function with followers not associated with your household? Don't have Hearthfire, but was probably going to get it along with the next DLC when it finally comes out.
