The Forsworn: A Danger to The Blades?

Post » Thu Nov 01, 2012 8:06 am

I've never understood this, there's a massive Forsworn encampment right at the entrance to the Sky Haven Temple ruins, so why don't they ever venture up the tunnels and attack the place?

Putting aside derp factors like this being just another instance of inconsistencies and also just a lack of foresight on the Devs part I'll entertain the Idea with an excuse.

3 people just wiped out an entire encampment AND a Dragon.

I don't think they want to f with you anymore.

You have a point.

My guess, the Blades stole their Sweetrolls, and made the Forsworn scared of them, by having their sweetrolls stolen.

THe forsworn are a danger to EVERYONE. Really, really crazy - the human counterpart to the Falmer.

As such, their presence at Karthspire is unacceptable. They do indeed need to be permanently wiped out, or the Blades need to have a seperate entrance for the place.

Bad game design and lack of foresight.

I always wondered how Esbern and Delphine would resupply that place with food when there was a small, hostile army right outside their front entrance. Or how new recruits made it to Sky Haven.

Could you use the default font? I use the 'elegant' site theme, and I can't read what you've written. Being on iPad, I can't read it even when I highlight your text. I had to quote it and then delete the quote. The default font automatically adjusts to different site themes, meaning everyone can read what you've written.
Thanks :)

Probably an oversight.

But something cool to have would be a sort of an agreement between the Forsworn and the Blades. The Forsworn look out for any Thalmor looking to wipe out the Blades and the Blades look out for any militias that are looking to wipe out the Forsworn there.

the forsworn are only a danger to civilians outside the walls rookie guardsmen and traveling merchants. but anyone with any decent prowess in battle can go killing those stone age savages for sport

These are other questions that crossed my mind. How do The Blades resupply and how do new recruits get past a Forsworn army camped at the entrance, not to mention Dragonborn being able to fast travel to the temple with seeming impunity!

I believe it's called an "entrance exam": if you survive the Forsworn and make it to entrance, you're a Blade...
