Need a character idea

Post » Mon Nov 05, 2012 4:55 am

I'm looking to play through again 100% and I need a character to play besides a Nord warrior, pure mage, or a purely stealth character.

Any cool ideas for playing through? I'll need a race and some ideas on skills to use.

Some help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

Im starting a new toon today. Ive never played sword and board so that is what I am trying. She will be a master alchemist (all perks to purity), light armor, one hand sword, sheild.

Race: Redguard
six: Female (I love playing female toons) Making her as sixy as possible.

Skills/Perks I plan to take:

One hand
Alchemy
Block
Archery

Here are the planned perks:

Architect.

That'll occupy about 3 hours of your time.

I've NEVER played as a female character. Might give it a try.

This is a new one I haven't tried before, and I'm loving it.

Race: Nord
Difficulty: Master

One-handed
Block
Smithing
Heavy Armor
Restoration
Conjuration (Only if you feel you'll need backup)

Make a Kajiht character on master difficulty and no HUD or opening the map. The character is scared of travelling alone so to get from city to city, he travels with and helps protect his trusty friends at the Kajiht caravan. He also does it so he won't get lost as he can't open the map. I had a lot of fun doing this ;). He also must leave when the caravan leaves so he gets a time limit in the cities and must sleep with his buddies at the caravan. Have fun :)

I love the idea of playing on Master and no HUD. Good stuff here. Thanks for the ideas!

If you are me?!
Then this is what we will do.

Race:
Nord\Imperial\Redguard

Abilities:
Fear, Charm, Invisibility (Illusion)
Fire, Frost and Shock (Destruction)
Bound Bow (Conjuration) for special assassinations and if you kill them with a Paralyze Potion added on Bound Bow, they will stay in the position they died in, bit funny.

But be careful if you throw them off a cliff, they will never stop bouncing! Madness I tell you!
*back to the subject*
Paralyze Potion, Fortify Destruction (Alchemy)
Having a friend with you or a mercenary, just occasionally (Social)
That's it, I guess.

When your magicka is drain, change to a magic staff (dual wielding) - and blast
When your health is low, don't heal yourself with magic or potions - ever.

And after sometime, you shall turn into a vampire.. but not by choice! - So goodbye to Fire spells and hello Frosty.

to be continued..
Hmpf, you might consider having a Ward spell (Restoration) with a cool staff - but you are not sure if that is something you really want to do as Restoration magic is not the thing for you.

Here's a new character I started, and am having a blast with:

Always Master Difficulty, like Gopher says, "only way to play mate".

Race: Wood Elf
Gender: Whichever you prefer, but female fits well

Basic idea: Archer, but with a twist. Heavy Armor, no stealth, with Destruction, Alteration, and Restoration. No melee weapon, purely range attacks. It can be challenging, but I am having quite a bit of fun with it. I also do smithing and enchanting, to customize the weapons and armor to suit the class.

Give it a try if it sounds like fun to you!

I'm currently creating a stealthy Argonian Fire-Mage, named Swims-Through-Fire. Using Illusion for crowd control, invisibility and the ability to cast silently, Destruction for Fireball which is just a 15 foot fiery explosion of death, Alteration for Dragonskin, Atronach and Magic Resistance, as well as being able to silently cast Detect Life and Detect Dead or Paralyze simply for the sake of hunting. And naturally there's the left side of the Sneak tree, Silent Roll is pretty fun and there's Shadow Warrior too.Think if I ever considered any of my characters being as being Predator, from Predator, it would be this guy.
