Dawnguard is only the beginning, goodbye first person view R

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 10:31 am

  • You ride a horse - BANG FORCED THIRD PERSON VIEW!
  • You turn into a werewolf - BANG FORCED THIRD PERSON VIEW!
  • You cut some wood - BANG FORCED THIRD PERSON VIEW!
  • You drink blood from victim - BANG FORCED THIRD PERSON VIEW!
  • You turn into a vampire lord - BANG FORCED THIRD PERSON VIEW!
  • You aim with bow on horse - BANG FORCED THIRD PERSON VIEW!
So where does that leave first person view at?
  • Sit on a chair - Woopsidaysi, I can see in first person view mode here, lovely.
Well, that's it.

Well tbh i play most of skyrim in 3rd person, except in tight caves. Oblivions 3rdPV was garbage. I see what your saying though, it was be awesome to eat some necks in fpv.. sad.

Aw come on now. I understand some people's disappointment with forced third person but I doubt that this the end of first person in TES.

Don't you already have a thread on this subject? Was it really necessary to create another one?

I swear. If it isn't spears or crossbows, the official Chicken Little Club will find any reason they can to scream about the sky falling.

So your saying that skipping first person view for Vampire Lord\Werewolf is okey?
Maybe they should had skipped making first person view for magic combat, each time you take out spells you will be forced into third person view.

That would make the developers job alot better.

I'm saying that on the list of things I care about, this topic ranks somewhere between Mitt Romney's horse and that oddly-shaped birthmark above my right knee.

But haven't you heard?! TES has been turning into a FPS! TES VI will be a FPS game in a medieval setting!

It's really not that serious. They're not going to switch to only third person view. Sure, its preferable to have the extra options, but it's... not that serious.
