Makes it more powerful? Hmm.

I'm currently playing a build that uses Illusion that could probably greatly benefit from a bit of Destruction. I haven't been using it because I know that it's pretty weak at higher levels. Just wondering if it's worth incorporating Destruction with Illusion or not.
