Altering the player voice volume for a particular race

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 7:30 am

As the title says, all I need is lowering the voice volume for the Bosmer race because on my end for some reason their grunts are at an annoyingly high volume. I can't seem to find how to do it. Any help?

Hmm maybe unpack the Voices.bsa and reduce the volume of each file of the Bosmer race. In Creation Kit all voices have the same settings. You can't even add new sounds for a custom race. So i think it would be the best solution to reduce it as i wrote.

Btw: The Creation Kit Part of this forum isn't good visited ;) You can wait here for answers the next few years and won't have a reply ;)

I actually have thought about that but wouldn't that reduce the volume for the enemies voices as well? I happen to recall that the voice files for NPC and the player are in the very same folder.

btw, I wonder how http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=77619231 mod was made..

Well there is no first and third person voice. And all voices are shared by the Player and the NPC. In that mod i am sure the NPC use the same voice too, since it is a replacer.

Ok, thanks for the clarification, I'll reduce the volume of each file.
