Does anyone else get repulsed from the vampire questline by

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 9:18 am

Pretty much what the title says, I made a character to play as a vampire lord, but after the blood chalice mission and hearing his little speech at the start of the prophet just made me hate the guy. He's so full of himself and I can't see my characters putting up with his nonsense for long....

But anyway I'm going on a tangent, does anyone else find his personality repulsive? Does he change at all over the course of the questline? If you found him annoying, were how long did you have to put up with him ordering you around? Are there other redeeming qualities in the VL questline that you think should draw people in?

Since this is the spoilers section (this is a rather MAJOR spoiler pertaining to the end of the quest line):

Spoiler
You kill him later on.

And about redeeming qualities, Serana's character development is fantastic so you shouldn't have too bad of a time whilst completing the vampire line.

I heard it was different if you went dawnguard or vampire, can you shed any light there?

EDIT: I am referring to Serana's character development

Well, I've completed both sides and apart from the first couple missions (which do not involve Serana) both lines are the same quest-wise. I feel like perhaps you got to talk to her and get to know her a bit more from the vampire's side of things, but overall it's the same.
