Keep vampire random attacks.

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 9:33 am

I don't know why people are whinning so much on the vampire random attacks; I think it adds some refreshing reality to the game. plus people don't like whinners; it's a scientific fact!

There is nothing wrong with the idea itself.

It's the number of encounters. And how they play out - killing npcs.

It needs to be tweaked and fixed somehow, not removed.

But, calling people whiners is ignorant. You fail to realize that this is a legitimate problem in some peoples games. If not yours, good for you. But calling people names who are having the problem is poor behavior.

Keep the vampire attacks? Yes, of course they should be in the game. However, keep the out of the settlements, they keep killing the NPCs for no good reason. It doesn't do anything exceot annoy the players.

If you can have 45 threads devoted to the same topic and hosting the same posts by the same people, and all of it butt-hurt bitter tears about the attacks and how you want them gone, then we can have one or two threads where we voice that we'd like to keep the attacks.

There's nothing wrong with threads wanting to keep them. But calling other people whiners or saying they are butt-hurt is not the same thing.

And it doesn't have to be threads about removing it or keeping the attacks, there's a simple middle ground of fixing the attacks.

I say keep them, and keep them as they are.

It's only a minority of people complaining, and a minority should never affect an entire game sold to millions.

Needs of the many, outweigh the need of the few.

You just said the forum is flooded with negative topic and contains like 2-3 positive topics. Which is the minority?

sounds to me that you like the fact of vampires wiping out npc's and leaving your towns lifeless over time. when the dawnguard trailer came out i thought to myself 'i hope you get random vampire attacks' yes we get the attacks, but the way they have been executed in this game is ridiculous

They are clearly a problem in a number of people's games.

Reports vary, from people have no problems to people have an unusual amount of attacks.

Just because you have no problems does not mean its not an issue in other people's game.

Minority or Majority doesn't matter in this cause.

People need to look at this from both angles.

Removing them is overdoing it, but ignoring that there is a problem to be fix in some games is understating the problem.

Everyone complains about wanting to be able to RP and how they aren't immersed and it's too easy. Then when it gets harder everyone starts complaining. Bethesda listened to you whine once, and now you're whining again. This is proof that the community can never be pleased.

Posts deleted, there are other topics about the vampire attacks and just whining about whiners is not a good idea.
