Why Aela will change you into WW only once after becoming a

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 6:07 pm

The game didn't give me any warning that it will be the very LAST time I can become a WW. So I didn't save ahead of time.

What was the reason behind it? Why are the developers being so restrictive?

Now I'm stuck being a VL and I want to build up my WW perk tree and get the achievement. :(

Simple. You have 5 glenmoril witch heads max. 1 for kodlak, 1 for vilkas, 1 for farkas. So 1 for you to cure being a werewolf the first time, and the second if you really don't want to be one the second.

Edit: Does it do this with vampire lords as well?

Another chance doesn't mean last chance. I've cure Vampirism through the mage in Morthal and Serana will change me back infinite amount of times.

You only have one chance to decide if you want to be VL or WW. That's a bit being anol. It's new content. People wants to thouroughly try out VL or WW to see which one they prefer.

Ring of Hircine doesn't do anything in VL form or after I cure Vampirism. I can deal with most of the bugs but this is just a major disappointment.

I see it that aela is just getting annoyed that you are being fickle plus the ceremony to turn you into a werewolf takes a lot of blood. I think serana does it anytime you want since well she likes drinking your blood so its a win for her she does not mind how many times you ask, well thats how I see it.

You do realize that this is a game right? Aela is just another NPC. If you can turn into a Vampire Lord infinite amount of times then you should be able to do the same with the Werewolf.

That's not asking too much it is? I'm bored with VL now and I want to play as WW.

Most people like to RP and pretend these npcs with basic coding have actual personalities, think about it, if she has to go through the trouble of cutting herself open and bleed out enough blood for you to drink, don't you think she'd get tired of it?

Also roleplaying games are typically about choices, and choices typically have consequences, bethesda added one such consequence and I'm happy for it.

So there is no way that I can become a Werewolf ever again?

I agree that there should be consequences but not to extreme like this. Make me pay 10000 gold coins to change me back or doing extra quests (getting the witch head).

How it is fair that you can be VL infnite amount of times and you can only try out WW perks only once? Don't they realize people will get bored with VL and wants to play as WW again?

I agree with you. It's not really spelled out anywhere across any of the wikis that Dawnguard only grants you one additional chance to regain Lycanthropy. Initial reports seemed to indicate you could flip flop as much as you wanted. Well, I suppose I'll have to replay Dawnguard yet again....

Being a Werewolf and being a Vampire Lord should be rarer things. Not something you can change as if you were changing clothes. You're lucky you get to change at all. In what logic is it alright to flip-flop diseases over and over again on one character. I mean, they give you a chance in case you want to do the companions and dawnguard questline on the same character. But, to be able to change over and over again is kind of kills the rarity of these supernatural beings.

Oh, you know, today I feel like being an undead vampire lord. I'll where my werewolf form for dinner. But, I think being undead would be better for my date.

It kills any logic. Really.
