their were maybe 5 new voice actors or less in dawnguard.though they have made a major improvement from oblivion they need to hire a mass of new voice actors for the next dlc.

I would love for Tara Strong to get a job in one of Skyrim's DLCs.

Once Sean Connery voice acts on a game, that will be my second favorite game. If he voice acts for a DLC, skyrim will just be more... favored

Wouldn't that mean it would cost more money due to more actors?

I honestly would lend my voice for free but if you want big name people that usually means $$$

But Liam Neeson as a main DLC NPC would be... epic to say the least

And Bethesda would probably have to start a Kickstarter campaign to afford them. Hah.

Not saying they can't afford A-List actors and voice actors as is - We've already had Sean Bean, Patrick Stewart, Ron Perlman, and the aforementioned Neeson.. but in the full games. I certainly don't expect them to be in a dlc.

Don't get me wrong - I'd love to have Neeson in Skyrim. I think he'd fit a battle-hardened Breton or Imperial rather well. But he might cost a bit too much for dlc.

Anyone have any idea what they paid him for Fallout 3?

A lot of voice actors typically get paid scale, so they don't bring home the million dollar deals that they get for movies or television series, especially if they're new to voice acting in film, tv, or games.

You really have to pull a lot of gigs as a voice actor to have the pull to get more lucrative deals, especially since a lot of people don't really pay attention to who an actor is if they can't see them physically.

More voice actors would be nice. Beth seems to always get atleast one famous actor in one of there games. I do like that voice actors in Skyrim are MUCH better then Oblivion's. Only one that bothers me, the Night Mother. Every last word in each sentence is drawn out and is really annoying.

Interesting.

I'm all for it, then. Give me Neeson as Tullius' superior officer in the civil war expansion dlc! =P

Personally, I couldn't stand Molag Bal (he was trying way too hard to be scary) and Hermaeus Mora's voices.

I can already see that they wont be hiring big name actors anymore. Just look at how big of a success Skyrim
is and how the biggest voice actor did the "voice" of Mario. Why would they keep throwing in a ton of money for
huge name actors, when its proven they can be twice as sucessful with smaller and less popular actors? The
biggest chance we have for a good popular voice actor is someone who is doing it for cheap because they love
the series.

Then again "Sometimes the famous come to us, sometimes they come to us to seek their fame."

Glad I'm not the only one that thought the nightmothers voice was annoying.

Get him to narrate the whole game as the future dovahkiin.

"Then I cautiously took two steps forward, no three, no four. Then I backed up a step to avoid gettin' caught by the Whiterun city guards. Turns out they don't like Redguards 'round these parts."

Kevin Conroy is like Bruce Campbell. To the majority of the world, they aren't as huge profile actors as Tom Cruise or Liam Neeson, but to their fans, they're some of the biggest names in their circles.
