So You Are Thinking Of Adopting?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 10:39 am

Indeed I am and have already begun planning whom i'd like to give a loving home to (see this thread to help me decide: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1424445-lucia-sofie-runa-blaise-thoughts-please/). The following is an article written by my character. Can anyone help him? I hope this style of writing appeals enough to those of you whom like a creative approach and will encourage you to reply as such

Dear Solitude Solutions Inc.

I have been considering adopting a few of Skyrim's needy children. I have approached Honorhall and made some lovely new friends. I have also been approached by various homeless children through our land. I understand that I need to have a loving home for them to come back to. Luckily for them, I have several suitable establishments where they are welcome to grow and play until such time they are ready to put one foot in front of the other themselves.

Upon returning home from a hunting expedition, I again turned my thoughts to adoption. Then it hit me. Am I ready to adopt? You see, I have a rather active lifestyle. When i'm not chopping wood for the smithy, or chugging mead with the locals, i'm off exploring dark caves and killing dragons. Aye, I am the one they call Dragonborn. As such I spend very little time at home, opting instead for a spare tent in the woods or a cosy inn on the otherside of the land.

Clearly I am not a family man. What's worse is that i'm rather unstable. Consider what i've been through with the Civil War, the dragons, the vampires etc. It's enough to drive anyone into a downward spiral. I would still love to aid our needy minors though. I've happily decided to convert my house in Whiterun to accommodate the children for now. I feel my housecarl, Lydia, will be more then enough protection for them in my absence, and given Whiterun's central and secure location, I could pop in from time to time.

Could you please write me back and advise if you feel I should adopt children at this stage of my life? I am worried if I leave it too much longer that I may be here at all. And no, I am not yet married, though there is one lucky lady I have my eye on.

Looking forward to your reply.

Yours,
