Cloud NIF in .ini

It seems that with 1.8, the sMapCloudNIF setting in the ini isn't working as a mesh replacer anymore. Is there any other way to implement a mesh replacer for the world map?

http://www.gamesas.com/user/624800-elijahhouck/ is under the impression that cloud nifs are now worldspace based. I would assume that means that in the 1.8 CK, once released, in the worldspace window there will be a place to designate a cloud nif. Once it's out we will find out. :)

Clear World Map simply replaces the already existing cloud and LOD textures. Warburg's mod changes the cloud mesh that the game points to in Skyrim.ini, and that functionality has been removed as of 1.8.
