Marrying Serena?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 1:35 am

Is it possible to marry Serena? When I'm wearing the amulet of Mara, it gives me the option to ask her but she says something along the lines of " I don't want to go near another temple let alone go in to one" I just thought it was a bit silly for her to be always saying how lonely she is but then refuse to get married to the person who helped her, do I have to do a certain task before she'll agree to get married?
Hey about you search the forums before making another thread about something that has been ask a billion times

And just think; this game hasn't even been released for the Ps3 or PC. Imagine how many more threads related to this issue there'll be.
And I will go on every single one and brag about how I married Serana Mwhahahahahahahaha!!!!

someone just tell me how to get the dialogue option. I must have made a wrong choice somewhere. I never got an option to ask if she was lonely, and I never got an option to ask about marriage. I have just now sent her off to get cured, thinking that might trigger the option. I have held off marriage just so I could listen to Serana's little speeches, but I am worried I will not get to hear them now.

No need to be a jerk about it, he was just stating his situation.

I am wearing an amulet. zip. nada. I am going to end up marrying Lydia, I think, or maybe Jordis, but I did want to hear Serana's little speech first.

In my opinion, the relationship between Serana and the dragonborn is probably the most in depth relationship throughout the entire elder scrolls series.. To not have an option for marriage, if you want that sort of thing, is quite insulting. Now saying you could marry her, it would be so out of character to have the wedding in the temple of Mara, so instead have the wedding at the castle and make it a bit darker.

Just my opinion...

This. While personally I wouldn't marry her (i think). Mainly because I never see my in-game wife as it is. RP'ing, the wife stays home and makes me money. A follower OTOH, i see all the time. And she is essential to boot.

But they did go and create an actual "relationship" - such as it is - that no other npc in the game can come close to. Even after the main quest, upon entering Kagren-whatever, she comments that she is glad I am with her to see it.... Bethesda really are making us fools for love.

She is just the best in the game. But I like her as a follower, and I can take that. A marriage option might be nice, but only if it really adds more depth to the already solid relationship the PC and Serana already possess. svcks for me if they do - I am already married.

Same here. She drops so many hints that it's a bit of the insult not to mary her. Althought I doubt she minds being a misstress.

If people used the search bars we wouldn't need a forum.
