Help i dont want to give anything away but i have finished the Dawnguard main quest and i have unlocked my dragon shout to call my new dragon to help me in battles but he never comes, WHY??? Also i have tried to call my old dragon buddy too and he never comes either but he use to before Dawnguard download to my xbox?????

Try shouting at the ground.

Calling the new dragon is like a summons. You need to aim at the ground not too far away from you; within summon range. The cursor will show red, I think, if you are pointing too far away. But you can't call him at your feet, either. He needs room to materialize. So shout at "medium" distance at the ground. Don't know why Ohdaving doesn't show. Hope there is not an incompatability issue.

Can they be summoned indoors?

no.

The problem is your calling him like a dovahkiin instead of like a boss.

You have to use three dragon souls to unlock all three words to summon the new dragon.

As for the Odavhing shout, it takes a long time for him to get to you sometimes.

You can summon him down in Balckreach and he will have a nice snooze.

Like any shout there are three levels. To unlock each level you need a dragon soul.
