Vingalmo problem : V

I just completed the story line on the Vampire side, now before that I was trying really hard to get the quest "The Gift" to turn my spouse into a vampire (Scouts-Many-Marshes) however he keeps sending me to do the old 3 turning quests. I tried again after the main quest and he is still sending me to do old turning quests. What the heck do I have to do to get him to give me the quest to turn my spouse???

Eventually it breaks the game
You can work around it by failing the quest but eventually it will ask you to turn a dead body

Reload the area each time you get an undesirable quest.

So even if you kill the people he sends you after he will keep giving you old turning quests. So that means I simply can't get the quest to turn my spouse doesn't it

Well I haven't got it yet and my blood of the ancients lasts for 9 days

Thats what I do. The problem is when it changes to a new vingalmo quest it is just another one of the 3 New Alliegences quest

I have the xact same problem.
Reloading does not help, because Vingalmo always sends me to one of the people I have already turned.
I want my Onmund to be a vampire like me

Well before i started the quest i heard that you have to be wearing "The Bond of Matrimony" Ring you get when your married and that first you have to do some miscellaneous quest for the vampire's and then he will give you the quest. I did this while wearing the ring and it worked for me, so hopefully it will work for you.

Gonna take a lot of saving and reloading likely before I get sent to Vingalmo, I hope it works

I found that reloading regular saves doesn't work and the radiant quests are randomized. You may get the one you are looking for after reloading once or reloading ten times.

you are pretty much screwed.
one of my characters after doing TONS of radiant quests now only gets sent to vingalmo now,reloading or doing anything else wont fix it either.
and like someone else said killing the people to fail the quest doesnt fix the problem,it will still send you to turn a dead person.
bethesda needs to patch this.

Looks like it. Did it with the bond of matrimony on too. Same quests.

I've been getting the same thing instead of the auto save I have been making sure I have a few previous saves, I go back to them, I sometimes give up and quit the game, maybe play a different charcter's game but eventually I get a different quest come up.

If I get the Vingalmo quest come up I just rinse and repeat.

why didnt beth just make vingalmo a seperate quest giver like nazir was for DB?
