turn in serana to dawnguard at the start

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 6:50 pm

is it possible, after you free serana from the crypt at the beginning, to turn her in to the dawnguard, it pisses me off, because I cant get rid of her, I cant kill her, and it doesn't give me the option of turning her in to the dawnguard which would be logical since my character had official joined it as soon as I arrived at their fort the first time.

Turning her in would block your ability to complete a number of quests.
I happen to like her as a companion, on a personal level. She has more depth than the followers in the Vanilla game.

She wouldn't go with you if you tried that so the effort would fail anyway.

Isn't that like saying a deep puddle is deeper than a less deep puddle?

My Redguard would Fus Roh Dah her ass all the from the crypt to Dawnguard castle if given the option... Or even better, she would just chop Serana's pretty head off and bring it (and the Elder Scroll) back as trophies

So much for role playing :swear:

Well, Elder Scrolls have never really allowed deviating from the pre-set path

And that's because each Elder Scrolls story is propehzied by the Elder Scrolls :teehee:

In nearly every RPG video game the player is denied the ability to initiate combat. You can't walk around town killing citizens, you can't attack people unless the story allows it. Stop comparing Skyrim to games that don't exist.

Well, yes I can. Actually, I do it all the time (I save first) but some of the bastard NPCs are essential and they won't die. Also, I'm on the 360, so no mods to change that...

Stop comparing Skyrim to games that don't exist.
What??? Have you played Gran Theft Auto??? 99.9% of the NPCs there are killable, while in Skyrim the list of essential NPCs is huge: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Essential_NPCs

Anyway, I've been playing video games for the last 25+ years, so I have earned the right to compare Skyrim (and any other game for that matter) with anything I want

I was talking about most RPG games not skyrim. Please pay attention. Skyrim gives more freedom to do things as you wish then most games. In most RPG games you can't even draw your weapons in town combat is either disabled or they simply ignore the attacks.

You can't kill anyone in GTA of story importance until the story demands it, Hell most named NPC's don't even show up outside of missions and if they do you never kill them they just go to the hospital. Clearly you've never played Grand Theft Auto. Again your comparing skyrim to not existent products.

I am pretty sure that every NPC in Dark Souls is killable. Only the serpents can't be killed.
