I'm returning to play skyrim after over 100 hours played. (Haven't played in a few months).

I've re-installed updated drivers, and removed all add-ons. But when I go to load a saved game or start a new game the game crashes on the loading screen. The skyrim logo and dragonwall statue you see on the loading screens aren't textured during the main menu or loading screen. I have a GTX 470.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or know of a solution? Thank you

You've "removed all add-ons" - what exactly does that mean?
Any add-ons that are present in your savegame need to be installed, or this is what you get (crashes on the loading screen).
But you get crash trying to start new game too?

I've "Unsubscribed" from all Add-ons and reinstalled the game. I never had any addons installed on my save game file. But yes I crash on a new game as well.
