I was wondering if it would be possible to use a friend's saved game file on my account? Like if I could transfer his saved file onto my USB and then my computer. Would it still work? They would be 2 separate steam accounts though. And how would the achievement system work?

no reason it shouldnt work as long as there are no conflicts from missing mods he had installed.
