Long gap, much changed?

Post » Fri Feb 01, 2013 11:04 pm

Hi,
Finished this in the following couple of months after it was released. Is there any new reason to return to it today? I did notice a lack of mob types which I thought could have been improved, but I heard they put emphasis on housing and such instead.
Thanks

First problem: you implied that you can 'finish' an Elder Scrolls game. You don't finish Elder Scrolls games ;)
Second problem: the text is a little hard to read on some site themes. Could you change it back to the default colour?

There are several reasons to return, though. New killcams were introduced with patch 1.5, mounted combat with patch 1.6, and three new DLC - Dawnguard (vampire lords, vampire hunters, crossbows, Snow Elves and new locations and quests), Hearthfire (building your own home, hiring staff, and so on), and Dragonborn (travelling to the island of Solstheim, fighting the First Dragonborn, and tons of new locations and quests). There's plenty to keep you busy!

I'd say the biggest change is that they've finally fixed up the PS3 DLC and will be releasing them soon. They've been approved by SONY and Beth is just waiting to hear specific dates.

Other than that just a lot of patches, a lot of fixes, possibly a few minor new problems, but again far outweighed by the patches.

One does not simply finish Skyrim. There is always something to do. Like those joyful non-repetitive radiant quest.
