Silver Sword Specs?

Post » Sun Feb 03, 2013 1:03 am

Concerning the one-handed silver sword, I have searched in vain for the specs of the weapon. Specifically I would like to know the speed and reach of it. I appreciate any information you can contribute.

Neither of those give the information he wants. I'm afraid a PC user will have to give the info.

UESP, Skyrim wiki

This was the first place I checked, however, as you can see, their page does not have detailed information about the speed or reach of the silver sword. Therefore I have sought the council of the masters of the creativity kit and PC files on these forums.

Sorry, I don't know those specific answers. I can tell you what is available in the wiki, which is that the damage of silver swords and great swords is 8 and 17 respectively and that they do an additional 20 points damage to werewolves and undead. They cannot be crafted and they cannot be improved, nor can the undead damage bonus be learned from disenchanting. The weapons themselves can be enchanted, however. If you are the PC, there are several mods that allow you to improve Silver at grindstones like most other weapons.

The Silver weaponry is really one of the best looking in the game. It's a shame they can't be upgraded.

I appreciate the info! WIth the innate 20 points damage to undead enchant does the sword work with the elemental fury shout?

I think so. There are a few "special enchanted" weapons which work with Elemental Fury. Be careful not to enchant the sword though.

Great question! I have no idea.
I know that other innate enchant weapons like Valdr's Lucky Dagger benefit from EF. It would be nice if Silver did the same.
