I thought I saw a thread on this with pictures and everything, but I can't find it on the forum and I've looked everywhere :/

I have just a simple question, but would invite anyone to discuss whatever they want about Miraak's armor. For the light armor boots and gloves, can you upgrade them at all? I want to use his gear once I finally get around to killing him, but I don't want to be practically defenseless. Also, is it true that his mask is counted as Heavy Armor? His whole gear situation is confusing, I don't understand why he is mix and match...

You cant upgrade his robe/boots/gloves/mask

I'm not surprised about his robes, boots, or gloves considering they look like Mage apparel. The mask is a little odd though.

Thats why im wondering why they are even considered light armor. Why have it be considered light armor if you cant improve it?

It's Bethesda's way of saying "don't be like this guy".

Seriously though, with the sweet new shouts I'll probably find myself wearing his stuff (sans mask) even though the armour rating is lame.
