Follower Question: Frea

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 7:36 am

So, my question is this... When Frea and I were in Miraak's Temple, She was pretty... independent. We scoped out the rooms separately, but still followed me in a sense... Does this hold up when you can have her as your follower?

I'm not sure, but it would be pretty awesome if she was like that.

It was scripted. After the fact, when you can get her to be your follower, she just tails behind you like the others.

She is like any other follower.

Her only special dialogue, later, is when you go somewhere with Neloth (if I remember correctly.) Then she comments
about stuff he says, but that is all.

Otherwise, she says her standard repeat stuff when someone dies -etc.

I like her, kind of fun in her stalhrim armor I made her with two 1 hand axes. However, she seems to cast something
dumb too often, while just beating on things with the two axes two seldom. I'm not even sure what she is casting,
some buff on herself?

does she possess dialog beyond Solsthiem?, that I don't know and I want to expand on her once it comes on the PC.

Ah, I was wondering if she had more dialogue. I liked the taking her along on the quest with Neloth. It was interesting.

Another question, is she essential? I'm far to lazy to go and test it out for myself at the moment.

It seems logical she reverts to normal behavior after that one quest.
I mean...She doesn't have any goal or reason to wait up on me.

Though I haven't taken her with me, I can't help but feel her place is in the village, with her people. Keeping things sorted.

no not at all, when you ask her to be a follower, she'll follow a certain script bethesda keeps for followers. All followers are exactly the same as far as their actions go (aside from of course their combat styles). The fact that she was 'independent' during the quest was just the way she went about clearing the dungeon for the quest only.
