What to expect in Solstheim?

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 7:49 pm

Don't sleep in Solstheim until after you finish the MQ. Really...don't sleep!
It helps to be a decent level before going to Solstheim, such as 25 or above. Most of the enemies are pretty badass. Take a few healing potions with you if you don't have healing spells, and give some to your follower if applicable. Resist fire/frost/shock enchantments on armor help a bunch or potions if you don't enchant.
You will absolutely be enthralled (no pun intended!) with this DLC.

Turn those off and you should no longer autosave.

Until the game forces autosave every time you leave/return to Skyrim/Solstheim. Or when you use a black book.

It still occurs if you travel between Skyrim and Solstheim?

The fight with Miraak is ten times more epic if you're a mage.

lol

It's pretty damn quick if you're an Assassin...

I thought the cap was 85%?

It is.

All of your resistances may equal 100% (or even above), but only the first 85% matters as far as effect is concerned.
